Time vs Money

Time is not money. Although many people treat money with more value than time. Got a problem? Throw money at it to fix it. Want to show someone you appreciate them? Spend money to buy them something. Want to build a relationship? Spend money to do something nice.
Time is not money. Time is worth much more than money. If everyone spent their time on people, instead of spending their time to earn money to spend on people, the world would be a better place.

Being in the know

"Being in the know" requires you to firstly (and most importantly) find the "know" and then figure out how to get into it. This may require effort on your part. Once inside, you must actively remain inside, or the know will change and move, and may leave you behind; ultimately leaving you once again out of the know, you know.

Advice

Giving advice, especially before it is requested, is not a vaccination against error.

The story of my life

Live your life like you are writing an adventure story on a deadline. There's definately no time for writers block. Don't waste too much time on characters that do not add anything to your story. There will always be antagonists to overcome.

Time

I wish there was a bank for your time, so you could save a minute here and a minute there, add compound interest, and take some time out when you really need it.

Becoming another person

Stress plus anger equals stranger. Sorry for not being myself lately.

Life

In life, there is one lesson to learn, and one rule to follow, and they are both the same: Love.

A tough nut to crack

Philosophising with a sleep deprived mind is like cracking a nut with a rubber thong.

Angels and Demons

Even the angels, in all their power and might, could not lift the curse of sin. Even the demons, in all their power and might, cannot condemn you to hell.

Deadlines are dead weight

'Never leave anything until the last minute' is some really great advice that never comes to mind until it's too late.

Questions pertaining to your hypothetical death

If you only had one day left to live, what would you do? If you had two days left to live, would you procrastinate for a day before you did it?

Truth

Truth is not defined by knowledge.

First law of motion (amended)

Every morning, I persist in a state of rest until I am compelled to change that state by the forces known as employers.

Paper jam in area 2

Einstein said, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
I see a lot of insane people using photocopiers.

You'll agree with me, right?

People who ask questions that sound like statements are annoying, are they not?

Gossip

Listening to gossip is like buying underwear from an op shop. You don't know who it came from, how much hot wind they blew, or what diseases they might give you.

Keeping it cool

In the heat of the moment, a good leader stays cool.

The wise and foolish

Words of the wise in the mouth of a fool are far less dangerous than words of a fool in the mouth of the wise.

Walls

A pile of bricks in the middle of the slab is not nearly as useful as a wall around the outside.

Childish synapse whoop

Anagrams that reflect the intention of the initial phrase are the bomb.

Triple-decker sandwiches

Triple-decker sandwiches are awesome in theory... but completely impractical in reality.
